Blackberry Smash-Edmonton Cake Smash Photographer

I first met little Clark as a newborn! It was an honour to capture her newborn photos as well as her first birthday session! Her parents asked for a simple, clean set-up with a cake featuring fresh blackberries, which are Clark’s favourite! We added on some family portraits, and Clark’s sister gave her a ton of hugs and love.

The expressions on Clark’s face in these images really makes me laugh! I dare you to scroll through without smiling!

Happy first birthday, Clark!

Autumn Rainbow Colours-Edmonton Family Photographer

This family was SO MUCH fun to photograph! I haven’t laughed that hard in ages! I just want to rewind and do it all over again. Will you guys adopt me? Haha!

This session occurred at the end of September, which is when the Edmonton area typically gets the most gorgeous fall colours. The young boys in this family session were so sweet, and they thought my crazy antics were hilarious (which always helps me to get real smiles!).

I love photographing large, extended family sessions. The memories captured are so priceless to every generation in the images, and the value of these photos only increases with time.

2021 Christmas Mini Sessions for Edmonton Area Clients

I will once again be offering Christmas mini sessions in my in-home studio in Leduc.
Last year I had clients from Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, Devon, and Leduc attend these mini sessions-thanks for a great season last year!

This year there is a new wintery scene for Christmas minis! It features frosted trees, poinsettias, and lots of snow in front of an elegant entryway.
There are examples listed below of what the set-up will look like (scroll down!).

COVID-19 Protocols: I will be wearing a mask at all times. Clients will be masked unless they are being photographed. All surfaces are disinfected between clients. I will be leaving 30 minutes of time in between clients to avoid having families coming into contact with one another.

Mini sessions are:
-$200 plus GST
-30 minutes in length
-5 digital images
-online gallery for you to select your photos
-option to purchase additional images for $25/each; option to purchase entire gallery at a discount

Available dates/times

*Sessions are fully booked for 2021. Thank you, I’ll see you next Christmas!*

This year, due to the pandemic, I will be limiting these sessions to immediate family only. Dogs are welcome, just let me know in advance if you are bringing your furry family member!

Please arrive on time for your portrait session.

Turnaround time to receive your gallery of images to select from will be within 12 days from the date of your mini session.

*I will have clients contact me directly for bookings. Payment of $200 plus GST is required at the time of booking. Sessions are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your session fee to another type of session if you cannot make it on the day of the mini session. These Christmas mini sessions are first-come, first serve, and your selected time will be guaranteed upon receipt of the session payment. Please use the ‘contact’ form on this website, or e-mail me at You can also reach me on Facebook and instagram.

Mactaggart Sanctuary-Edmonton Maternity Photographer

I am often asked what timeframe is the best for maternity photos. I recommend planning to do your maternity session when you are between 32-34 weeks along in your pregnancy. At this point, you will have a beautiful belly to show off in the photos. If the session is left to occur at 36 weeks or later, we will run the risk of you going into labour prior to your maternity photo session (this has happened quite a few times with my past clients).

I met with this sweet couple in early September, just as summer was winding down. The autumn colours were just beginning to pop in some places.

This couple has such natural chemistry! They were also so much fun to photograph! Isn’t this expecting momma so gorgeous?!

Smoke on the Water-Edmonton Maternity Photographer

The summer of 2021 was another smoke-filled summer for Alberta. This family was so great to work with, and we had a gorgeous evening for this maternity session (even if the smoke was thick).

I’ve been a photographer for quite a while now, and I mainly work with returning clients. However, this was a brand new family that I got to work with-which was exciting for me!

I wish them all the best as they welcome the new addition into their family!
