This is baby Owen at 9 days old!
He was one of the most alert newborns that I have ever photographed! In 4 years of being a newborn photographer, I’ve actually never been able to pose a baby in the ‘side sleeper’ pose and have him be WIDE awake but not moving! Generally, if newborns are awake, they are fussing and twisting all about. Owen had many spotters, so he was always safe, but he honestly had no interest in moving! He just wanted to quietly look around!
