I was so excited to meet and photograph this sweet couple! They were so excited to become parents soon, and I look forward to meeting and photographing their baby.
We met at MacTaggart Sanctuary for this maternity session. The sun poked out for a few moments here and there, so we got a good mix of photos.

Baby Vanner is one year old!
His parents chose a camping theme for his first birthday cake smash.

I met with this beautiful couple to capture their pregnancy. It was a COLD day in February, but the sun sparkling off the snow and the frozen water really added some extra magic to the photos! They were both such troopers for this session!
There is something extra special about capturing a pregnancy during the time of year that your baby is due. I love outdoor maternity sessions, especially the wintery ones.
Doesn’t this momma look like a Disney princess? She’s gorgeous!

Little Augustine was in the studio to celebrate his first birthday with this wintery woodland cake smash!
His mother really wanted a fox on the top of the cake. I scoured Edmonton stores and online merchants in search of a plastic fox, but I just couldn’t find one. The wonderful baker that I work with offered to make one out of fondant! The cake, and the fox topper, turned out beautifully! Thank you to Bake My Day in Beaumont!
I first met this family when I photographed their older son’s cake smash session many years ago. It was great to see them again! They opted to include some family photos with the cake smash.
I just love how this session turned out.
